OTR Grapvine
Heard a bunch of cool news this week for the OTR/Gateway Quarter/Findlay area. Some of it I have been forbidden to spill the beans on (at least not yeat).
Here is what I can say. Nigel Cotterill (Universal Grille fame) is rumored to be taking the lease on the Alchemize space at 12th and Walnut. It will be a bar concept to welcome locals and the arts crowd. Not clear if it'll have food.
Second bit of news is that one of the condo developments in the Gateway Quarter has signed a lease for a restaurant with a locally famous restraunteur. There's a lot of people that could be, but when the announcement is ready, it'll be great news for the neighborhood.
Finally, wait for a major announcement for a late April Findlay Market event. I'm really excited about this one, and can't wait until I can start spreading the news.

I'm nervous about the prospect of success at the 12 and walnut location...it's enough off of the beaten path that the attraction will have to be pretty solid to see success, in my mind. Regardless, its another positive step in the right direction...
