Nice work Joe, I discovered your site on a website called cinplify.com

I must say i have know Joe for many years and to see all of these comments and thoughts makes me wonder why he never talks that much when I am around. Anyway I heard about this blog from my mother who i asume heard about it from her daughter my sister. Well you would think Joe would tell someone that he is going to start something like this so they can be on the look out. I guess Joe Humble should be his true name.

It is a relief to have an real perspective on the city. It is unfortunate that our city paper and so many blogs feel the need to discredit Cincinnati. We are fortunate to have such a wealth of history and culture that other cities strive to replicate. Thanks for being such a great voice in the city.

Congratulations! As a recent immigrant from Connecticut, I have to say I've been very pleasantly surprised by how many interesting cultural opportunities there are here -- lots more than Connecticut, by the way. Music both classical and popular, opera, ballet, art museums... the Cincinnati History Museum and the Museum Center are extraordinary ... there's nothing like either in the northeast (although the NE does have several good natural history museums). And Cincinnati has the most incredible library -- the service blew me away (I was used to waiting months for inter-library loans, so I was a little overwhelmed when all my requests showed up in the first week). I don't think people who were brought up really know how good things are.

Hotep Joe,

I saw your blog featured in CinWeekly and came by to see what all the fuss was about. I enjoy the vibe of your blog very much. The information provides a unique perspective. I look forward to visiting often.

As an aside, I am also a Cincinnati resident with a blog.
