Today's Enquirer alluded to a possible grant from the state, as well as some other available dollars to the theatre for a possible expansion. The article is a little unclear, almost as if the dollars are being made available even before much thought has been put into expansion on the part of Ensemble. But if they do indeed expand (and there is demand for an expanded theatre) it will be great for that area. With the Kroger Garage and condos going in across the street and the Art Academy opening soon around the block, it's great news for that part of OTR. Hopefully an expanded theatre would do a lot to draw traffic and clean up that part of Vine St.
